They had come to visit their two daughters who were enrolled. Our headmistress arranged a reception tea for them and the student body was present. I remember that my parents were not happy at hearing about this event as they did not have a good opinion of Magloire and considered him a dictator. I told them that the parents were no concern of mine but that the girls were very nice, well brought up and polite. I suspect they may have had tutors in their country. No one seems to know what has happened to the girls and I confess that I have forgotten their names but this was over 50 years ago so I hope to be forgiven for my lapses in memory..
