He did not have the moral compass then to make the right choices. Who is to say what he would do now in Haiti. He should be very that he got away from the country as he did. Things could have been a lot worse for him.
Give the country a chance to grow. Someonelse needs to come along and change all the years of corruption that have plagued our country. It does not need the return of the Duvalier regime, the lack of fairness and extreme inequity that existed under his regime, the killings and the macoutes who roam the streets.. The country needs fresh blood. It is time for Jean Claude to move on.

Saturday Nov 24, 2007All I can say is to give the man a second chance, as we know we all deserve one in life.When we think about it baby Doc was only 19 (teenager), he only did what he was told to by his father who was the evil one, as we know haitians parents get real offended when we don't do as told. so, think about it, if you were in his shoe, at 19,(still a baby)YES! BABY! I said it, as we know in our country at 19 we still considerate like a baby, so please don't let the US system confused our minds, we all know at 19, if we had a chance like JC we would jump on it just like he did, i mean why not when we could rule a nation. even thoug i was still a baby during that time of matter, but i know that there is a big difference between it and ours. all i can say is now jean Claude is older & riser, maybe his mind is focus on more POSITIVE things than POWER.Damn y'all just give the man a chance, stop letting the PAST dragging us behind our FUTURE like that we can move on from our misery, the CHILDREN need that, in my opinion that would be the best gift we could give them to hold on to.

What's the matter with you Haitian people? He has been away for so long and pay his debt and suffer for the consequences of his actions. Therefore, as a ex-president and a haitian, he has the right to return to his country as wishes.
