Wyclef Jean has launched the Haiti Storm Relief Fund in response to the devastation wrought by Hurricanes Gustav, Ike and a series of storms that have also battered the southeastern U.S, the Bahamas and Cuba.
Jean's group has been doling out food, water, purification tablets, tents, blankets, medical supplies, hygiene kits and cash to various nonprofit relief organizations currently toiling away in Haiti, where hundreds of people have died over the past several weeks.
Teaming with the Pan American Development Foundation and the World Food Program, Yelé Haiti is planning for a massive emergency food delivery to begin within the next few days.
