I really dont think that's the reason why?
I personally think that he wasn't living in the country long enough to know excatly what"s going on in Haiti.
He spent most of his life in USA. An other for him to be a candidate to be a president in Haiti he has to know Haiti inside out and know what the country needs and milletary back grown will be a plus. I know he did a lot for Haiti but he needs more than that, he needs to know about the law of constutition and democracy and strong back grown.
Someone like Papa Doc he was the only one who knew how to deal with Haitien people in Haiti our brothers and sisters are to evil. Therefore we need a strongm leader to lead this country.
