Anderson Cooper is doing a really good thing by adopting this haitien baby. He is giving this kid a chance to have a bright future.
As long as they can love this kid and raise him with the right values, it's should be ok whether they are straight or gay to adopt this kid.

As always, excellent work or kudos to Mr Anderson Cooper, an excellent journalist and Dr Gupta, an outstanding neurourgeon.Should we name a street in Haiti after these 2 individuals?
They have accomplished more in one month than most our so-called leaders will ever accomplish in a lifetime.

The story is wrong it was debunked by Anderson himself.
Get a life and leave Cooper alone.

I do not foresee his sexal orientation being a problem in raising a "child." Throughout this painful ordeal, he's shown how big of a heart he has, how much he cares for human lives.
He did things that he wasn't obligated to do. I'm sure there will be some controversial opinions, but at the end of the day, we should get a grip of our emotions and look outside of the box, and see people for who they really are. As a straight man, Anderson Cooper has earned my respect and I believe he'll be a fine parent to an Haitian orphan.

I am a Haitian woman and religious as well. I do believe there's nothing wrong for a gay man to adopt a child.
Don't rush to judge if we don't want to be judged.
His sexuality has nothing to do with that. See people as human being not a title.

Y not!!! It doesn't matter gay or straight as long as the child is being cared for nd treated well, most gay couples I know r wonderful parents...
Don't look at it as gay, white or asian or even black...
Look at it as someone that cares nd that is reaching out...
More power to him I think they should go for it..
Good luck guys...
Love me some AC!!!!!
