Well he is the president and he makes the decisions.
He & his cabinet made the decision to give authority to the US to control the airport.
Remember, he is the president of the country despite what some may think of him.
Anyways, I think he said this because there are already too many troops/security in Haiti right now. We already have PNH, CIMO, UN peace keepers and 5, 000 American troops or more (idk).
So perhaps thats why he refused.
We dont know, but I do agree he should explain.
But I think the Dominican troops should be more concerned about their borders.
Many poor Haitians are still trying to flee to that side, so I think they should worry about troops guarding their borders.
As far as history goes. It repeats itself.....
