I am a haitian national with belonger status in the Turks and Caicos Islands where I have been living for over thirty years . Turks and Caicos is close to my native country and has been for years encountering serious problems as it relates to illigal migration on sea from haiti as much as three boats a week . The same happens for the Bahamas and it. Is draining the two countries resources and causes an increase in crime . Wyclef held a concert about two or three years ago in turks and caicos which I attended and left because he stood on that stage and curse out the leaders of the country along with the Police and Immigration and the law enforcement SPICE (Special Police Immigration Customs Enforcement ) to the lowest for doing what they have to do in protecting their borders . He spoke in creole and told the haitian people at the concert what to do and say to the officials inciting violence and he stood there and shouted "F$#k the turks and caicos Govt, F$#k the police and immigration let haitian people pass free" . I thought that it was not right especially in another country for him to disrespect the way he did . I do not think that he will be able to perform in the country again . We have to set example and look now he wants to run for president of haiti I believe he will be encouraging the haitian people. To risk their lives and leave by boats for other neighbouring countries . He is rude obnoxious and selfish and only has his interest at heart .
