Breaking Up Online Is On The Rise
Tuesday March 09, 2010 08:41 PM ET
Breaking up a relationship online will soon take over when it comes to ending a relationship.
Breakup online is on the rise, according to a survey, with growing numbers of people preferring to use email and social networking web sites to break up with their partners.
Over one third of 2,000 people polled (34 per cent) said they had ended a relationship by email, 13 per cent had changed their status on Facebook without telling their partners and six per cent had released the news unilaterally on Twitter.
By contrast, only two per cent had broken up via a mobile phone text. The rest had split up the old-fashioned way by face-to-face conversation (38 per cent) and by telephone (eight per cent).
You opinion counts:
What do you think about online break up?
What are the acceptable Causes for online Break up?
Do you think it's more acceptable to break-up a relationship via email than text message?
Wouldn't it better to Get the person to Dump You?
What do you do if that person keep Calling You? How do you Get the person to Move Out, if living together?

I woke up from a dream I just had. I promised others I wouldn't do it but since my dream I think I am going to do it. This isn't suicide I'm talking about, I'm talking about me calling my ex. The guy is a great lover. By the way, we broke-up several times in the past and we always got back together. I miss his affection and S..... X

OK so I've been broken up with this guy for 4 months now. I was over him but I miss him still. He said he will some out to me but then his credit went. His friends say he was really in love with me and we were engaged. Everyone says we were cute together and I want him back now how can I make him like me again?

Should i breakup with my boyfriend. Here is why I am asking that. Basically I have been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years, we moved in little under a year ago. But the past couple months, my doctor diagnosed me with depression, and in that time Derek and I never had sex maybe once or twice a month and if I did I would cry within 5 -10 minutes for no apparent reason I didn't have the drive and I would always argue and get mad at him for every little thing he did wrong. But I figured it was the depression and ill keep taking my anti depressants. Its been a month or two now that I'm better still taking the anti depressants. But I still don't have sex with Rene actually I sort of cheated and made out with another guy (that's all I did) I felt really guilty and told him and I also have so many cheating dreams.

I think in certainsituations, it is OK to breakup like that. if my woman cheats on me, she deserves the break-up to be done via text message. Also sometimes, the relationship is casual and there are no strings attached.
