Are Haitian Movie Actors Oscar Academy Award Materials?

Haitian Movies are among Haiti's most popular art; however, Haitian actors have not reached international audiences to the point of a Oscar winning recognition.
Even in hard times, Haitians go to the movies. Now they're also making them in record numbers, about 10 feature films a year, rivaling Cuba as the Caribbean's biggest movie producer and often outselling better-financed imports.
While most Haitian industries are stagnant, show business is booming, driven by plunging production costs and an appetite among Haitians at home and abroad for movies shot in their native Haitian Creole.

Haitian film production has risen 300 per cent in the last five years, including an explosion in straight-to-DVD releases shot in Haitian immigrant communities in the US.
Haiti's first Creole-language film was released in 1980, and was about a peasant girl who becomes a servant for a wealthy family.
Today Haiti still does not have a national film commission to finance local production. But cameras have continued to roll, even after a bloody 2004 revolt that toppled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and plunged the country into tumult.

Hollywood in Haiti. Actor Danny Glover compared the devastation inflicted on Haiti by the January 12 earthquake to the destruction of World War II, but said the world was "paying attention" and ready to help. "Lethal Weapon" star Glover, a former United Nations goodwill ambassador, made the comments during a visit to the earthquake hit Caribbean nation, in which he saw camps housing some of the hundreds of thousands of homeless survivors. "We have to understand the magnitude of this, really the magnitude of this. This is ... the pictures I remember watching, of looking at the remnants, the aftermath of World War II. Certainly the talk about a Marshall Plan for Haiti," Glover says

Do haitian Movies have a rting system to help people. It seems that a lot of Haitian movies are promoting sex because that all they have to offer. They are poor in ideas The basic mission of the rating system is a simple one: to offer to parents some advance information about movies so that parents can decide what movies they want their children to see or not to see.

The Haitian Movie Actors are not Oscar Academy Award Materials. They have a long way to go before becoming serious movie actors. Haitian Movie Actors are usually not formed academically. Most of them do not know much about movies to begin with If the Haitian Movie Actors start taking things seriously and go to acting schools to get at least the basics about acting, only then we can start talking about Haitian Movie Actors being Oscar Academy Award Materials
