Friday March 05, 2010 09:43 PM ET
President Barack Obama will meet with Haiti President Rene Preval for the first time after earthquake ravaged Haiti.
The White House says Obama and President Rene Preval will meet on Wednesday before Obama visits St. Louis. The White House announced the schedule on Friday.
A Jan. 12 earthquake wrecked Haiti and killed an estimated 200,000 people. The U.S. has played an active role in rebuilding the country, with former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton leading the United States' fundraising efforts to help the Caribbean nation.

What will the two, Obama and Preval, discuss?
Will we gain anything as a result of the meeting?

Rene Preval will not be doing anything positive in Washington. These people are incompetent I really believe that Haiti is beter of without Rene Preval and his corrupted government and Minirtres, etc Rene Preval do not care about the suffering people in haiti. This government is only preoccupied with the amount of money they are going to make as a result of this Haiti Earthquake. The best thing that could happen to haiti is havving the international community to run the contry, in the meantime, start forming a new type of haitians capable of governing Haiti. This current government of Rene Preval can be described as: Incompete... vision I think we need to change the haitian constitution and make it possible for the children of haitians who were born outside of the country to participate in the haiti government.
