The musical them of CONCACAF 1973
Does anyone know the title of the Brazilian Samba that were played in Haiti during the 1973 CONCACAF? It is still played in Haiti whenever there is a big football event. patrick jean says:
my opinion about haitian music
By researching this page i understand more where the haitian music is coming from, after reading the whole story it was very touchy to find out that these guys died poor. we as haitians dont want to know that working together can change things for the better cause as you can see the story tells us that by working together we can achieve more. haitian music is beautiful and it represent who we are as people. thank Cesar says:

Haiti needs someone who can rule for ten straight years. Then slowly move toward democracy. We have impatient people in Haiti who think Haiti problem should solve in one day. Mohamed Ali says:

Information additionnelle
A suivre...

An Urgent Call to Alleviate Hunger in Haiti
The World and Democracy MNN / Time Warner Cable Published Friday, May 2, 2008 By Smith Georges An Urgent Call to Alleviate Hunger in Haiti Rev. Jesse Jackson and Haitian–American Councilmember Dr. Mathieu Eugene Have Launched an Urgency-of-Now Food Drive New York – Haitian-American Councilmember Dr. Mathieu Eugene has used his polished leadership skill to mobilize some top guns in order to collect food to send to his native country Haiti. During yesterday’s press conference in the Red Room at City Hall in Manhattan, New York City, elected officials, community leaders and other dignitaries gathered to show support for an urgent food drive to help alleviate the suffering of Haitians during the food shortage/crisis in the Caribbean nation. Rev. Jesse Jackson took pain to explain US indifference toward Haiti despite Haiti historical alliance with the United States. “When Britain and France were our enemies, Haiti was our allied. The reason why we are not all speaking French today is because of Haitian Toussaint Louverture who defeated Napoleon in Haiti and drove the French out of the hemisphere,†said the Reverend/former US presidential candidate. In 1779 Haiti saved the US Revolution. Today Haiti needs your help, and the need is urgent. While the food drive effort will be coordinated nationwide, in the meantime, people in the New York area can bring their food to the following drop-off sites: Middle School 246 Walt Whitman School, 72 Veronica Place, Brooklyn, NY 11226, phone (718) 282-5230; P.S. 92/ Middle School 136, 4004 4th Ave, Brooklyn 11232, phone (718) 965-3333; P.S. 397 Foster-Laurie School, 490 Fenimore St., Brooklyn, NY 11203, phone (718) 774-5200; St. Jerome School, 465 East 28th St. Brooklyn, NY 11226, phone (718) 462-0211; Mt. Zion Church of God 7th Day, 203 East 37th St., Brooklyn, NY 11203. The office of Councilmember Dr. Mathieu Eugene can be reached at (718) 287-8762. Medlyne zamor says:
