RE: Anderson Cooper Is Adopting Haitian BabyI am a Haitian woman and religious as well. I do believe there's nothing wrong for a gay man to adopt a child. Don't rush to judge if we don't want to be judged. His sexuality has nothing to do with that. See people as human being not a title.

Caribbean Dr. Conrad Murray In Jackson's DeathMichael Jackson, 50, died after Dr Murray gave him propofol, a powerful painkiller, and two other sedatives to help him sleep. The local coroner's office ruled the death a homicide. This is a picture of the Caribbean Doctor, Conrad Murray:

See more photos from this album Born in Grenada, Dr. Conrad Murray was raised in Trinidad by his grandparents and later by his mother and stepfather, according to a biography provided by his attorney. Dr. Conrad Murray had no contact with his own father until he was 25, although he knew as a child that his father was a doctor who lived in Houston. Dr. Conrad Murray arrived at night dressed in scrubs or a neat blazer and slacks, offering a ready smile for the household staff, and sometimes, gifts for Jackson's children. Most of his time was spent upstairs in the Michael Jackson's private quarters, but occasionally he sat at the dining room table chatting with the family in his lilting Caribbean accent. Dr. Conrad Murray, who has been trying to surrender to authorities for a week, will likely get his chance with prosecutors saying they will file a charge Monday in the death of Michael Jackson.

Will We Get The Money From Jean-Claude Duvalier?More problem for former Haitian leader Jean-Claude Duvalier. Switzerland froze approximately $4.6 million from the family of former Haitian leader Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier that was held in Swiss banks. The Haitian government has demanded the money since 1986, saying that Duvalier pilfered the it during his years in power. Does that mean that the money promised to Haiti by Jean-Claude Duvalier after Haiti Earthquake will not be delivered? The Swiss Supreme Court overruled an earlier decision to send the money to aid groups in Haiti. The Supreme Court ruled on Jan. 11 — just one day before the earthquake that devastated the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince — but the decision was not made public until Wednesday. It was shortly after reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Haitian Invasion Of The NFL And The Super BowlFour players in Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV are Haitian Americans, and many other Haitians are looking to follow in their footsteps. This recent earthquake can only shake but not break us. As Haiti looks to rebuild from January's devastating earthquake, we will continue to make progress in other areas such as sports, education, art, science, technology, medicine and many others. Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Pierre Garcon and Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma are the latest Haitian Super Stars performing in Super Bowl XLIV. Garcon has been raising money for Haiti through his Helping Hands Foundation. He hopes to raise $500, 000 so he can distribute food and aid during a personal visit in April. RE: Anderson Cooper Is Adopting Haitian BabyI do not foresee his sexal orientation being a problem in raising a "child." Throughout this painful ordeal, he's shown how big of a heart he has, how much he cares for human lives. He did things that he wasn't obligated to do. I'm sure there will be some controversial opinions, but at the end of the day, we should get a grip of our emotions and look outside of the box, and see people for who they really are. As a straight man, Anderson Cooper has earned my respect and I believe he'll be a fine parent to an Haitian orphan.
